How to get there
From the hotel to Rivera
Take the train from Locarno towards Lugano and get off at Rivera-Bironico.
Cable car to Alpe Foppa
The cable car ride from Rivera to Alpe Foppa (1530m) takes about 10 minutes and crosses right over the motorway.
Enjoy Alpe Foppa
Try the rope park, zip line or summer toboggan run, visit the Santa Maria degli Angeli church by Mario Botta, or hike up to the 1962m summit.
Back to the hotel
Take the cable car back down to Rivera and the train back to Locarno.
